The board of directors of China Power International Development Limited resolved the proposal to pay a final dividend of RMB 0.09 (pre-tax) (equivalent to HKD 0.1113) per share for the year ended 31 December 2012 compared to RMB 0.045 (equivalent to HKD 0.0555) per ordinary share in 2011. The 2012 final dividend is subject to the shareholders' approval at the forthcoming annual general meeting of the company to be held on May 28, 2013. The final dividend is expected to be paid in Hong Kong dollars on 28 June 2013 to those members registered in the company's register of members on June 7, 2013. The company reported audited consolidated earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2012. For the year, the company reported revenue of RMB 17,497,128,000 compared to RMB 16,082,062,000, operating profit of RMB 3,559,640,000 compared to RMB 2,273,429,000, profit before taxation of RMB 2,128,675,000 compared to RMB 782,219,000 and profit attributable to owners of the company of RMB 1,181,125,000 or RMB 0.21 per diluted share compared to RMB 505,202,000 or RMB 0.10 per diluted share for the last year.
