LeoNovus Inc. announced that the company has entered into a strategic alliance with Leadtek Research Inc. to create innovative Leadtek product offerings for the global market. The LeoNovus platform is flexible and can also enable additional vertical markets such as education, hospitality, and home automation, which are complimentary to Leadtek's hardware expertise and product offerings. Having the ability to leverage wireless connectivity and cloud support allows for easy adoption of follow on "hard" and "soft" applications and services that can be connected to an existing network using UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) standards. This managed cloud system provides "banking level" security including the ability to enable future features and functionality for recurring revenue over the life cycle of the device. The LeoNovus software platform can be integrated into Leadtek's hardware systems to service customers in several vertical markets. The opportunity is to service existing customers that make up Leadtek's vast distribution channel as well as enabling new customers globally.
