The company offers instant bag and cup noodles, egg noodles, and instant vermicelli under the Indomie, Supermi, Sarimi, Sakura, Pop Mie, Mi Telor Cap 3 Ayam, and Pop Bihun brand names. It also offers sweetened condensed milk, liquid milk, and powdered milk, as well as other dairy products, such as ice cream, yogurt drinks, and butter under the Indomilk, Cap Enaak, Indoeskrim, Nice Yogurt, and Orchid Butter brand names. In addition, the company provides food seasonings, including soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce, bouillon and instant seasonings, and cordial syrups under the Indofood and Piring Lombok brands; and snack foods, such as chips and extruded products, as well as various biscuits and sandwich crackers under the Chitato, Qtela, Lays, Cheetos, and Trenz brands. Further, it offers various cereals and biscuits for infants and children, as well as milk products for expectant and lactating mothers under the Promina and SUN brand names. Additionally, the company is involved in marketing of non-alcoholic beverages; manufacture of packaging materials; marketing and distribution of packaged drinking water; management consulting services; general trading and transportation; food and fisheries processing business; and processing of oil and fats. The company was founded in 1982 and is headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia. PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk is a subsidiary of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk.

PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Announces Consolidated Earnings Results for the First Semester Ended 30 June 2014

PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk announced consolidated earnings results for the first semester ended 30 June 2014. For the period, the company posted consolidated net sales of IDR 15.52 trillion, grew 23.4% compared to IDR 12.58 trillion in the same period last year. This is mainly attributable to the increase in average selling prices and sales from the Beverages Division. Income from operations increased 3.8% to IDR 1.70 trillion from IDR 1.64 trillion in the same period last year, but operating margin declined to 11.0% from 13.0%, primarily because of the lower gross profit margin and higher selling expenses, in particular distribution expense, freight & handling and advertising & promotion, as well as salary and employees' benefits in conjunction with the company's business expansions. Income for the period attributable to equity holders of the parent entity increased 6.6% to IDR 1.34 trillion compared to IDR 1.26 trillion in the first half 2013. Core profit increased 7.5% to IDR 1.35 trillion from IDR 1.25 trillion.

PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2014. For the quarter, consolidated net sales increased 20.7% to IDR 7.36 trillion from IDR 6.09 trillion driven by higher volume in some divisions and average selling prices, as well as new contribution from Beverages Division. Income from operations increased 3.3% to IDR 881.8 billion from IDR 853.4 billion but operating margin declined to 12.0% from 14.0% on lower gross profit margin as w ell as higher selling and general & administrative expenses, particularly advertising & promotion, salary, wages and employee benefits and freight & handling expenses. Income for the period attributable to equity holders of the parent entity rose 7.0% to IDR 688.6 billion from IDR 643.8 billion; net margin declined to 9.4% from 10.6%. Core profit increased 7.8% to IDR 696.5 billion from IDR 645.9 billion. Earnings per share increased to IDR 118 from IDR 110 a year ago.
