TAINET Communication System Corp. provides network multi-access solutions worldwide. The company engages in the research, development, manufacture, integration, and service of telecom and datacom systems. It offers xDSL series products, including Scorpio 1400, a modem providing data transmission over single/dual twisted pair copper cable; Scorpio 1400RL, a router that offers local area network (LAN) to LAN application over single/dual twisted pair copper cable; Scorpio 1400Rbis, a mini-terminal enabling the transport of traffic from Ethernet interface; Scorpio 1000, an access shelf that provides data transmissions over a single twisted copper pair; and DT-128 and JUPITER 2560 network termination units. The company also offers Venus series voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) gateway, which provides a connection platform between traditional POTS lines and the Internet; PON 8510, the optical line terminal enabling operators to offer triple play services; MUXpro series, which deal with Ethernet based traffic; IPBX series solutions that allow organizations to communicate through VoIP; and MUXpro 700, an optical fiber multiplexer. In addition, it provides Mercury cross connect system that offers capacity I/O non-blocking cross connection and various access technologies for rapid rollout of voice/data/video service; UNMS, a network management system platform with client-server architecture providing integrated management functions for various communication equipment series; T-336, a series of multi-standard standalone or rack-mounted modem for use on 2-wire dial-up and 2/4-wire leased-line circuits; Super Shelf, a network-managed system that supports multi-service transmission products; and DSD-08A, a data sharing device enabling up to 8 modems or terminals to share a master modem or an access port in a multiple end-device environment. The company was founded in 1990 and is based in Taipei, Taiwan.
