Taiwan Takisawa Technology Co. Ltd. announced that to celebrate its 40-year founding anniversary, company recently inaugurated a new plant in Yangmei of Taoyuan County, northern Taiwan. With the inauguration of the Yangmei plant, Takisawa Group will see annual production capacity in both Taiwan and Japan amount to 3,000 CNC (computerized numerically controlled) lathes per year. The company's new plant in Yangmei occupies a land space of 6,000 pings (one ping equals to 36 square feet) with total investment of some TWD 700 million. In the near future, the company will equip the plant with such high-tier production machinery such as large-sized five-face machining centers, and precision grinding machines. The plant will mainly roll out high-tier machines, including large-sized CNC lathes, PCB drilling machines and OEM (original equipment manufacturing) machines commissioned by parent company.
