Further, it maintains underground passages; and operates restaurants, halls, conferences, etc. The company was founded in 1986 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. NTT Urban Development Corporation is a subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation.

NTT Urban Development Corporation reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported operating revenue of ¥36,272 million against ¥40,350 million a year ago. Operating income was ¥6,245 million against ¥10,483 million a year ago. Net income was ¥3,513 million or ¥10.67 per share against ¥5,658 million or ¥17.19 per share a year ago. Ordinary income was ¥5,217 million against ¥9,243 million a year ago. Income before income tax and minority interest was ¥5,551 million against ¥9,199 million a year ago.
