Japan Real Estate Investment Corporation (JREC) is a publicly owned real estate investment firm. The firm principally invests in office buildings in Japan and trust beneficiary rights in real estate trust. It provides its services to tenants in various industries, including nonferrous metals and metal products, temporary staff agency, transport services/travel, textiles, ceramics, communications, construction, machinery, retail and restaurants, real estate, pharmaceuticals, electric devices, services industries, information service, finance, and insurance. The firm primarily invests in real estate markets of Japan. It makes 75 % of its investments in real estate and 25 % in asset related securities which mainly invest in real estate assets. For its real estate investments, the firm invests in real estate, leaseholds of real estate, surface rights, trust beneficiary rights limited to those of trusts entrusted solely of real estate, surface rights, or leaseholds of land, and anonymous partnership equity interests limited to those partnerships that invest solely in real estate, surface rights or leaseholds of real estate. Japan Real Estate Investment Corporation is incorporated in 2001 and is based in Tokyo, Japan.

Japan Real Estate Investment Corporation announced its decision on December 11, 2014 to procure funds and enter into an interest rate swap agreement relating thereto as: New loan: Reason for drawing down of the loan to apply the funds to repay of the ¥2,000 million long-term loan executed on December 15, 2011. Amount of loan: ¥2,000 million. Lender: The Yamanashi Chuo Bank Ltd. Interest rate: Base interest rate (ICE Benchmark Administration) EUR/JPY LIBOR for six months. Start of the loan period: December 15, 2014. Borrowing method: Loan agreement concluded with the lender on December 11, 2014. Unsecured/non-guaranteed loan. Interest payment date: 15th of June and December of every year until the principal repayment date. Repayment of principal: Payment in full on the principal repayment date. Principal repayment date: December 16, 2019 (pre-payment possible).
