SCSK Corporation provides information technology (IT) services in Japan and internationally. The company offers various solutions, including SCM, CRM, EDI, BI, enterprise system, information systems, and EC websites; ProActive, an ERP package, which is incorporated with the business system for accounting, management of sales and purchasing, inventory control, asset management, and personnel and salary control; system services for banks, securities, insurance, credit cards, and leasing or other financial businesses; and solutions in settlement, market/international affairs, securitization, and IT security to financial institutions. It also provides local site support services for manufacturing and distribution industries; enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions; business support services, such as technical support, customer support, help desk services, telephone sales, and data inputs; software verification services; EC site establishment; and introduction support for e-commerce, back office operations, and logistics, as well as develops and provides Curl, a Web programming language. In addition, the company operates netXDC data centers, which provides outsourcing services for business tasks, including operational cost reduction, infrastructure integration and optimization, and governance intensification or project continuity, as well as offers infrastructure for IT management services, such as cloud computing, Websites, and SE support services. Further, it provides engineering services to server storage products; and switches and routers in the high performance computing network; and VoIP products, IP telephony systems, CATV, security, data exchange tools, operation management tools, and communication devices. The company was formerly known as Sumisho Computer Systems Corporation and changed its name to SCSK Corporation as a result of its merger with CSK Corporation in October 2011. SCSK Corporation was founded in 1969 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
