Australian Agricultural Company Limited provides beef and agricultural products in Australia. It operates through four segments: Finished and Store Cattle, Farming, Wholesale Beef, and Meat Processing. The company engages in the operation of grazing and farming properties; and growing and harvesting of cotton, corn, wheat, sorghum, chickpeas, and other crops. It is also involved in breeding, growing, feedlotting, and trading of beef cattle; and wholesale meat marketing. The company markets Wagyu beef under Master Kobe, Takumi Wagyu, Kobe Cuisine, and Darling Downs Wagyu brands; grass fed beef under the Brunette Downs Grass Fed Beef brand; and grain fed beef under the 1824 Premium Beef brand; and Wagyu burger patties, beef trimmings, and offal items for food service and retail markets. It operates 18 cattle stations, 5 agisted properties, 2 owned feedlots, 5 external feedlots, 2 owned farms, and 2 external farms covering an area of approximately 6.9 million hectares located in Queensland and the Northern Territory. The company also exports its beef products to approximately 20 countries. Australian Agricultural Company Limited was founded in 1824 and is based in Milton, Australia.

Australian Agricultural Co. Ltd. reported audited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the quarter, the company reported revenue from ordinary activities of AUD 61,147,000 compared to AUD 43,270,000 a year ago. Loss before finance costs and income tax expense was AUD 67,278,000 compared to AUD 3,356,000 a year ago. Loss before income tax was AUD 73,989,000 compared to AUD 9,666,000 a year ago. Net loss after tax was AUD 46,477,000 compared to AUD 5,073,000 a year ago. Basic and diluted loss per share for profit attributable to the ordinary equity holders of the parent was 14.9 cents compared to 1.6 cents a year ago. Net cash flows used in operating activities was AUD 18,603,000 compared to AUD 16,639,000 a year ago. Payments for property, plant and equipment and other assets were AUD 4,735,000 compared to AUD 4,815,000 a year ago. Loss from operations-LBITDA was AUD 64,550,000 compared to AUD 1,153,000 a year ago.

Australian Agricultural Co. Ltd. announced that Adil Allana has been appointed alternate director for AACo director, Arunas Paliulis. Adil Allana replaces Irfan Allana who has retired as alternate director for Arunas Paliulis. This appointment is effective for so long as Arunas Paliulis is entitled to be a director on the AACo Board, subject to any earlier termination in writing.

Australian Agricultural Co. Ltd. announced the appointment of Dr. Mohd Emir Mavani Abdullah as a director. Dr. Emir's appointment fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Dato' Sabri Ahmad, who retired at the company's Annual General Meeting in March, 2013. He is also a director of the Malaysia Nuclear Power Corporation and the Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation. Dr. Emir has previously served as an economic adviser to the United Arab Emirates Finance Minister and to the Malaysian Prime Minister's department. Denys Collin Munang will act as an alternate director for Dr. Emir. Mr. Munang previously served as Alternate Director for Dato' Sabri Ahmad.
