Abacus Property Group Reports Standalone and Consolidated Earnings Results for the Half Year Ended December 31, 2012; Provides Dividend Guidance for 2013

Abacus Property Group reported standalone and consolidated earnings results for the half year ended December 31, 2012. For the period, on standalone basis, underlying profit was AUD 42.4 million or 9.59 cents underlying earnings per security against underlying profit of AUD 39.8 million or 10.35 cents underlying earnings per security of prior year period. AIFRS statutory profit was AUD 31.5 million against AUD 13.5 million of prior year period. Total income was AUD 137.0 million against AUD 82.0 million of prior year period. Underlying EBITDA was AUD 69.47 million. Cash flow from operations was AUD 59.05 million. For the period, on consolidated basis, AIFRS statutory profit was AUD 23.7 million against AUD 2.42 million of prior year period. Net cash flows from operating activities were AUD 100.99 million compared to AUD 44.12 million a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was AUD 1.04 million compared to AUD 0.65 million a year ago. Total income was AUD 170.5 million against AUD 132.5 million of prior year period. Profit before tax was AUD 27.91 million compared to AUD 1.84 million a year ago. Net profit after tax was AUD 24.78 million compared to net loss after tax of AUD 0.22 million a year go. Profit attributable to equity holders of the parent entity was AUD 7.38 million compared to AUD 4.71 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per stapled security were 5.35 cents compared to 0.63 cents a year ago. The company is targeting a full year distribution of 16.5 cents.
