Act Conferencing names Adrian Studd as EMEA regional sales director in the London office. Studd will be providing strategic direction and management for the ACT Conferencing sales force. With 18 years of sales and sales management experience in the IT and telecommunications industries, Studd will concentrate on developing the unified communications (UC) practice for both partners and customers. Specifically, he will manage sales strategies that accentuate ACT Conferencing's product innovation and offerings in EMEA while enhancing the overall customer experience. Studd was previously responsible for driving and growing the Unified Communications practice within Avnet Technologies in the UK for vendors like LifeSize, MS Lync and AudioCodes. He has always worked in channel focused organizations from IT, voice and data to unified communications resellers, helping partners and often their customers as well, build and realize UC strategies across their businesses.

Onstream Media Corp. announced that it has signed an agreement with ACT Conferencing to become a premier reseller of Onstream Media's Webcasting services. The agreement will enable ACT clients to utilize the full suite of Onstream Media's white glove and self-managed services, including live and on-demand audio and video streaming, synchronized presentation materials and real-time usage reporting. Additionally, ACT will offer their webcasting and webinar clients Onstream Media's custom URLs, branded audience interfaces, online registration pages, polling and audience Q&A.
