Acadian Energy Inc is looking to sell itself. The Board of Directors of Acadian has been looking to repurpose its public listing and entertain reverse takeover proposals with other corporations in similar and different business sectors who can make use of its unique corporate structure that generally enables U.S. private company shares to be swapped with Canadian-listed shares on a tax-free rollover basis, making Acadian particularly amenable for those companies interested in a public vehicle that is Canadian traded with U.S. operations. There can be no assurance that a suitable transaction will be found that meets all of Acadian's criteria.

Acadian Energy Inc. announced the appointment of Mark Lawrence as Interim CEO, effective September 10, while Chairman John McDevitt is on a Leave of Absence for medical reasons. Mr. McDevitt will remain a director of the company, as will Mark Lawrence. The company is continuing to refocus its efforts to identify and pursue New Albany Shale Oil opportunities and will continue to welcome John's contribution and assistance as a director in this regard while he is on leave.

Acadian Energy Inc filed its Annual on May 11, 2012 for the period ending Dec 31, 2011. In this report its auditor, KPMG LLP, gave an unqualified opinion expressing doubt that the company can continue as a going concern.
