The Board of Anglo Eastern Plantations plc declared a final dividend of 3.0 pence per share in respect of the year to December 31, 2013 compared to 4.5 cents notwithstanding the Group achieved a lower profitability. Subject to approval by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting, the final dividend will be paid on 17 June 2014 to those shareholders on the register on 16 May 2014.

Anglo Eastern Plantations plc announced restatement of earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2012. For the year, revenue was $237,352,000 compared to $259,037,000 a year ago. Operating profit was $78,667,000 compared to $114,281,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was $81,862,000 compared to $117,678,000 a year ago. Profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent was $47,331,000 or 119.27 cents diluted per share compared to $73,681,000 or 185.69 cents diluted per share a year ago. The 2012 accounts stated that the company was in the process of resolving a query from the Financial Reporting Council ("FRC") concerning the measurement of the notional rent used in the valuation of the Group's biological assets.
