AirAsia Berhad announced that it has on May 8, 2013 incorporated a subsidiary company known as AirAsia Global Shared Services Sdn. Bhd. (AGSS), a private limited company with its registered office situated at B-13-15, Level 13, Menara Prima Tower B, Jalan PJU 1/39, Dataran Prima, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan. The objective of establishing AGSS is to provide shared business, support and outsourcing services, develop or use multimedia technologies in producing or enhancing their products and services, and for process development and provision of training. The authorised share capital of AGSS is MYR 100,000.00 divided into 100,000 ordinary shares of MYR 1.00 each. The issued and paid-up capital of AGSS is Ringgit Malaysia Two MYR 2.00) only comprising two (2) ordinary shares of MYR 1.00 each. For the purpose of incorporation, AirAsia subscribed to one ordinary share of MYR 1.00 and Cik Aireen Omar subscribed to oneordinary share of MYR 1.00. Cik Aireen Omar will be transferring one ordinary share of MYR 1.00 held by her to AirAsia, thus making AGSS a wholly-owned subsidiary of AirAsia. The company also announced that the Directors of AGSS presently are Cik Aireen Omar, Mr. Andrew Robert Littledale and Ms. Chan Suit Fong.

AirAsia Berhad announced the final dividend single tier dividend of 6 sen per ordinary share of MYR 0.10 under the single-tier system which is tax exempted. Ex-date is May 31, 2013 and payment date is July 3, 2013. The payment of this Final Single Tier Dividend of 6 sen per ordinary share of MYR 0.10 is subject to the shareholders' approval at the forthcoming annual general meeting. Entitlement date is June 04, 2013.
