Ekarat Engineering Public Company Limited announced consolidated and company earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the quarter, on consolidated basis, the company reported net profit of THB 28,469,000 or THB 0.036 per share against net loss of THB 10,720,000 or THB 0.014 per share a year ago. For the quarter, on company basis, the company reported net profit of THB 41,184,000 or THB 0.052 per share against THB 45,110,000 or THB 0.057 per share a year ago.

Ekarat Engineering Public Company Limited approved amendment to Clause 4 of Memorandum of Association at its AGM held on April 30, 2013.

Ekarat Engineering Public Company Limited informed that the Board of Directors meeting was held on March 15, 2013, approved the payment of dividend at the rate of THB 0.0555556 per share which is equivalent to the amount of not exceeding THB 43,898,570.67 and all dividend shall be deducted for the withholding tax at the rate stipulated by law. The cash dividend will be applied toward payment of withholding tax. And, proposed that, the shareholders entitled to receive the said dividends be determined on May 15, 2013 i.e. record date and the name of the shareholders shall be gathered under Section 225 of the Securities and Exchange Act by closing the share register of May 16, 2013. The dividends will payable by May 30, 2013. The company announced that the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the company to be held on April 30, 2013, to consider and approve the amendment to Clause 4 of company's Memorandum of Association in accordance with the increase of the registered capital.
