It also provides cash management services, such as money transfers, and collection and payment services; international business and financing services comprising imports, exports, foreign currency transfers, and pre-financing and ECA coverage services; safe deposit box rental services; and credit cards. In addition, the company offers insurance services, such as automobile, home, traffic, office and workplace, moving, engineering, health, housing, and mandatory earthquake insurance services. Further, it provides leasing services to its customers to obtain machinery, equipment, and other goods in turkey and internationally; private pension plans, chip cards and magnetic/optic reader card systems, and insurance intermediary services, as well as bonds issuance services; and online and telephone banking, ATM, and POS services. Additionally, the company is involved in the real estate and project development, and tourism and accommodation activities. It operates approximately 251 branches, and 2 national and 1000 foreign correspondent banks. The company was formerly known as Asya Finans Kurumu Anonim Şirketi and changed its name to Asya Katılım Bankası A.Ş. in December 2005.
