American Express Opens New Centurion Lounge in San Francisco

The American Express Company has announced the opening of The Centurion Lounge in San Francisco International Airport, or SFO. Unlimited, complimentary access to The Centurion Lounge is among a suite of curb-to-curb benefits designed to create a more seamless travel experience for Platinum Card Members. The 8,200 square foot Lounge, located in Terminal 3, features world-class amenities that allow Card Members to: wine & dine; work & play; and relax & recharge.

American Express to Open the Centurion Studio at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in 2015

American Express is expanding its presence in major domestic airports, announcing it will open The Centurion Studio at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in 2015. Like The Centurion Lounges, The Centurion Studio will be a retreat for Card Members but in a smaller space, featuring some of the amenities Card Members say are most essential: comfortable seating, charging stations, fast and free WiFi, and complimentary healthy snacks and beverages. Access to The Centurion Studio is the latest feature in a suite of travel benefits for Platinum Card Members; entry to the space will be complimentary for Platinum Card and Centurion(R) Members, and their immediate family or one travel companion. The Centurion Studio is an extension to The Centurion Lounge network, uniquely designed airport lounges aimed to enhance the travel journey for Card Members. The Centurion Lounge locations include Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, New York's LaGuardia Airport and San Francisco International Airport. A Lounge will open in 2015 at Miami International Airport.

American Express Partners with Intacct to Help Mid-Market Companies Save Time & Hassles by Making Commercial Payments Via the Cloud

American Express Global Corporate Payments, the division of American Express, announced the company has joined forces with Intacct. Together, American Express and Intacct will seamlessly integrate commercial payments and working capital solutions into Intacct's software. The partnership, announced at the annual Intacct Advantage Customer and Partner Conference, will allow thousands of midsize businesses to set up and use American Express Global Corporate Payments products, as well as manage and improve their supplier payments, within the Intacct cloud financial system. Launching November 11, 2014, the Intacct Check Delivery Service will enable businesses to send check payments to suppliers and have their general ledger automatically updated -- all with a click of a button. Additional card- and non-card payment solutions from American Express and Intacct will be coming soon. The American Express and Intacct partnership will reduce the costs of payment processing and provide customers with an integrated user experience, as well as drive operational efficiency through streamlined workflow, reduced payment processing errors, and automated updating of the general ledger.
