Fastighets AB Balder Enter into Agreement for Joint Ownership with Coop Fastigheter AB

Fastighets AB Balder and Coop Fastigheter AB has signed an agreement for joint ownership of a smaller part of properties located at Backaplan in Gothenburg. The parties shall jointly develop properties for commercial, residential, office and other operations. Coop Fastigheter and Balder collaborates already with Platzer, JPA and the City of Gothenburg.

Fastighets AB Balder (publ) Approves Dividend on Preference Shares

Fastighets AB Balder (publ) at its Annual General Meeting held on May 7, 2014, approved the Board of Directors motion that of the accumulated profit of SEK 6,102,081,465, a dividend should be declared in the amount of SEK 200,000,000 to the present holders of preference shares and an additional dividend of a maximum amount of SEK 100,000,000 if new preference shares are issued during the period until the next AGM, all subject to the following conditions. Dividend shall be distributed quarterly of SEK 5 per preference share, however, not more than SEK 20, during the period until the next annual general meeting.

Fastighets AB Balder Reports Consolidated and Parent Earnings Results for the First Quarter Ended March 31, 2014

Fastighets AB Balder reported consolidated and parent earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2014. For the quarter, on consolidated basis, the company reported rental income of SEK 566 million compared to rental income of SEK 448 million for the same period a year ago. Net operating income was SEK 350 million compared to SEK 272 million last year. Operating profit was SEK 590 million compared to SEK 441 million last year. Profit before tax was SEK 351 million compared to SEK 515 million last year. Net profit was SEK 282 million or SEK 1.45 per share compared to SEK 406 million or SEK 2.36 per share last year. Profit from property management before tax was SEK 234 million or SEK 1.15 per share compared to SEK 161 million or SEK 0.82 per share last year. Cash flow from operating activities was SEK 196 million compared to SEK 77 million last year. Acquisition of properties was SEK 1,164 million. Investment in existing properties was SEK 210 million compared to SEK 105 million last year. Profit after tax excluding unrealised changes was SEK 0.88 per share compared to SEK 0.60 per share last year. Net operating income SEK 2.19 per share compared to SEK 1.71 per share last year. Return on equity, ordinary share was 7.4% compared to 9.5% last year. Return on total assets was 4.8% compared to 6.0% last year. Net asset value amounted to SEK 63.41 per ordinary share compared to SEK 52.19 per share last year. For the quarter, on parent basis, the company reported net sales of SEK 29 million compared to SEK 25 million for the same period a year ago. Operating loss was SEK 3 million compared to SEK 4 million last year. Loss before tax was SEK 50 million compared to profit before tax of SEK 202 million last year. Net loss was SEK 39 million compared to net profit of SEK 157 million last year.
