Banimmo S.A. reported consolidated earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2014. For the period, the company's recurrent income was €5,520,000 against €5,165,000 a year ago. Recurring operating profit (REBIT) was €1,371,000 against €922,000 a year ago. Operating profit (EBIT) was €2,500,000 against €3,079,000 a year ago. Profit before taxes was €604,000 against €1,049,000 a year ago. Loss of the financial year - continued activities was €7,532,000 against €1,883,000 a year ago. Loss attributable to company shareholders was €7,532,000 against €1,883,000 a year ago. For 2014, the company aimed achieving a sales objective amounting to €80 million.

Banimmo S.A. Reports Earnings Results for the First Half of 2014

Banimmo S.A. reported earnings results for the first half of 2014. The net rental income of the first quarter of 2014 amounts to €4.9 million compared to €4.7 million during the first quarter of 2013. The decrease in rental income resulting from the sale of 4 buildings that occurred in 2013 (Eragny, Rouen, Fontenay and Prins B.5) has completely been compensated by rental income from new lettings of office and retail areas concluded during the first semester of the year and by the new acquisition of the Desguin building. The net financial loss amounts to €6.0 million. This result is impacted by a profit/loss (non cash) of €0.95 million on the financial hedging instruments further to the decrease of long term interest rates which occurred during the half year. The financial result is also negatively impacted by an additional value reduction of €1.7 million. This amount consists of a provision for interest recognized in 2013 on the mezzanine loan granted by Banimmo to City Mall, that all creditors had agreed to capitalize until December 2014.
