Franklin Templeton Investments announced April 17 that it appointed David Zahn as head of European fixed income, effective April 15, 2013. Based in London, Zahn will lead the company's efforts to add local investment resources in Europe. He will work with a fixed income team that comprises nine employees in London and four employees in San Mateo, Calif. He will retain his current post as senior vice president and portfolio manager, overseeing global aggregate, global government and Euro aggregate fixed income strategies and funds.
