Bajaj Electricals Limited operates in home appliances, fans, lighting, luminaries, and engineering and projects businesses primarily in India. The company offers a range of domestic appliances, including microwave ovens, room coolers, water heaters, room heaters, oven-toaster-grillers, toasters, juicers and mixer grinders, food processors, steam and dry irons, water purifiers, hand blenders, electric and induction cookers, electric kettles, electric tea makers, coffee makers, cook tops, chimneys, hobs, pressure cookers, and home UPS and inverters. It also provides various ceiling, disney, table, pedestal, wall mounted, industrial, and exhaust and fresh air fans; generators; and air circulators and heavy duty exhaust fans for industrial use, as well as pumps and motors for domestic use. In addition, the company offers lighting products comprising compact fluorescent lamps, consumer luminaires, fluorescent tubular lamps, general lighting services lamps, LED portable lights, and LED lighting products; and luminaires, which include workspace, retail, industrial, roadway, urban architecture, hazardous area, and area lighting products, as well as accessories. Further, it provides engineering and projects services consisting of design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of turnkey projects for utilities, such as airports, shipyards, port trusts, railway yards, sports stadium, monuments, commercial complex, super thermal power stations, sub-stations, petrochemical complexes, refineries, fly-overs, rural electrification, and street/park lighting, as well as power distribution and transmission-lines. Bajaj Electricals Limited offers its products through distributors and authorized dealers; and operates approximately 4,00,000 retail outlets. The company was formerly known as Radio Lamp Works Limited and changed its name to Bajaj Electricals Limited in October 1960. Bajaj Electricals Limited was incorporated in 1938 and is headquartered in Mumbai, India.
