The company’s Investment Services segment provides custody and related services, broker-dealer services, collateral services, corporate trust and depositary receipt, and clearing services, as well as payment/working capital solutions to financial institutional clients. This segment’s financial solutions include custody, fund services, securities lending, investment manager outsourcing, performance and risk analytics, alternative investment services, securities clearance, collateral management, corporate trust, depositary receipt programs, cash management solutions, payment services, liquidity services and other linked revenues, foreign exchange, clearing and execution, managed account services, and prime brokerage solutions. This segment serves corporations, public funds and government agencies, foundations, and endowments; financial institutions, including banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, insurance companies, and central banks; financial intermediaries and independent registered investment advisors; and hedge fund managers. The company is also involved in credit-related activities, business exits, leasing operations, and corporate treasury activities; and the provision of global markets and institutional banking services. The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation was founded in 1784 and is headquartered in New York, New York.

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed Gary Cindrich as new wealth director for business development at its Pittsburgh office. The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation Launches Alternative Loan Financing

The Bank of New York Mellon Corp. launched a new service that allows U.S. syndicated loans to be used as eligible collateral in a wide range of financing transactions. Traditionally, syndicated loans have not been easily transferable between counterparties and have not normally been used in many types of financing transactions. The service, Alternative Loan Financing, or ALF, provides clients with improved costs of collateral usage, improved liquidity and potentially lower funding and set-up costs. Alternative Loan Financing gives investors the opportunity to easily invest in this asset class.

BNY Mellon has been appointed by iDreamSky Technology Limited as the depositary bank for its American depositary receipt (ADR) program. Each ADR represents four ordinary shares and trades on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange under the symbol DSKY. iDreamSky Technology Limited working with BNY Mellon to develop a strong ADR program with high visibility and liquidity will ultimately strengthen the company brand in new markets throughout the world.
