Bosch Limited primarily engages in manufacturing and trading automotive products, industrial equipment, and consumer products in India and internationally. In addition, it offers power tools for construction, woodworking, and metalworking industries; cordless tools, accessories, and tools for do-it-yourself enthusiasts; gardening and hobby tools; heating and hot water systems; and home appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, and dryers. Further, the company provides electronic security solutions, including closed circuit television systems, IP-solutions, access control systems, intrusion detection and control products, fire alarm systems, public address/voice evacuation systems, conference systems, paging and personal security systems, and social alarm systems for elderly and disabled. Additionally, it offers engineering services; and IT services for ERPs and related modules. The company was formerly known as Motor Industries Company Limited and changed its name to Bosch Limited in 2008. The company was founded in 1922 and is based in Bengaluru, India. Bosch Limited is a subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH.
