Beatrix Ventures Inc. announced the appointment of Florence Luong as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Luong brings several years of financial and accounting experience in the public sector specifically in the natural resource industry. The Company has accepted the resignation of Esther Lee as Chief Financial Officer effective August 31, 2012.

Beatrix Ventures Inc. announced grab samples grading up to 18 grams per tonne (‘g/t’) gold from its Mount Uniacke Gold Property (the ‘Property’) in Nova Scotia. A total of 31 grab samples were collected from new outcrops as well as rubble piles beside historic trenches and other mine workings. Of 31 grab samples, 6 contain significant mineralization ranging from 1.68 g/t gold up to 18 g/t gold. These high grade samples represent a strike length of approximately 570 meters and demonstrate a huge potential for extension of the gold-bearing structures mined in the past. Gold is associated with quartz veins and stringers as well as mineralized sediments. Beatrix is very encouraged by these results and anticipates a follow up program with further prospecting and trenching. The samples were collected during a 3 week mapping and prospecting program by Beatrix geologists at this historic gold site. The program focused near the central area of the historic Mount Uniacke Gold Mining District in the immediate vicinity of historical mine workings that date back to the 1800's. More recently, previous workers turned up numbers of up to 60.51 g/t gold from bedrock channel samples in a trenching program (Seabrex, 1989).
