Callinex Mines Inc. Updates on Neuron Graphite Project

Callinex Mines Inc. announced the assay results from the last two diamond drill holes of its 12-drill hole campaign on its Neuron Graphite Project located in Northern Manitoba. Both drill holes (NQ sized core) NEU010 and NEU012 intersected graphite mineralization. The intervals represent core length as true widths are unknown at this time. The graphite mineralization extends the strike length of the eastern panel where a bulk of the drilling from the exploration program took place. The eastern panel was targeted for drilling after a strong EM anomaly was identified by a VTEM airborne survey.

Callinex Mines Inc. Announces Management Changes

The Board of Directors of Callinex Mines Inc. announced that it has appointed Max Porterfield as Chief Executive Officer and President effective June 1, 2014 and as a director of the Board effective immediately. Callinex Mines Inc. Extends Mineralize Zone at Neuron Graphite Property

Callinex Mines Inc. announced that assays received from this past winter's drilling program at the Neuron graphite property have extended the previously reported zone of graphite mineralization. Diamond drill hole NEU007 represents a 55 meter step-out to north of the previously reported diamond drill hole NEU003, while NEU009 represents a 55 meter step-out to the south of drill hole NEU 003. Several graphite intervals were encountered in hole NEU004, located between NEU007 and the previously announced drill holes NEU001-NEU003. True widths are unkown at ths time. Holes NEU005 and NEU006 were drilled to test a geophysical anomaly to the west of the main zone. Assay work is currently being done on holes NEU010 - NEU012. A liberation analysis is also underway at SGS Laboratories to determine the characteristics and size of the flake graphite encountered at Neuron. Initial analysis of the mineralization has shown that it occurs in coarse polycrystalline aggregates and layers, forming fine to coarse flakes ranging from 100um (micrometres) to 2000 um. (1000 um = 1mm). To date, 8 of Callinex's 9 diamond drill holes at the Neuron property have returned graphite mineralization. Callinex maintained a QA/QC program at all stages of exploration. Drill core recovery was calculated, measured and recorded at the Neuron property before being cut and sampled. Samples were sawed in half, one half of each sample being kept for storage and the other half placed in a pre-labeled plastic bag, tagged with the sample number and recorded in the log. Callinex QA/QC samples were inserted into the group of samples and shipped to SGS Labs in Lakefield, ON, where they were crushed, split, pulverized to 250 g samples at 200 mesh and then assayed. The lab employs internal quality control by assaying pulp duplicates and inserting quality control standards of predetermined values and a blank sample.
