The company operates in two segments, Natural Gas Distribution Utility and CNG Refueling Retail Station. Its primary operations are located in Sanya City, Hainan Province, China. The company has 30-year concession rights in Sanya City with wholly-owned gas distribution pipeline networks and associated facilities; and 50-year operation rights in the administrative region of Xiangdong District, including the Pingxiang Industrial Ceramic Production Park. Its distribution network consists of 38 kilometers (km) of high-pressure gas pipelines; 26.6 km of high-to-medium pressure pipeline; approximately 122 km of medium to low pressure gas pipelines; approximately 600 km of branch/customer pipelines; and 1 primary gas station, 2 gate gas processing stations, and 3 gas pressure regulating stations. The company also operates a compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling retail station that primarily serves public transportation vehicles in Changsha City, Hunan Province. Changfeng Energy Inc. was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.

The increase was driven primarily by higher sales. Adjusted net income was CAD 2,814,000 compared to CAD 1,935,000 a year ago. Net income was CAD 2.8 million or CAD 0.045 per share basic and diluted compared to CAD 2.5 million or CAD 0.038 per share basic and diluted in 2012. Net cash provided by operations was CAD 10.0 million for fiscal 2013 compared to CAD 8.4 million in 2012. Cash used in investing activity included capital expenditures of CAD 9.3 million for fiscal 2013 compared to CAD 6.3 million in 2012. The expenditures were mainly related to the purchase of equipment for the Xiangdong project and the on-going construction of pipeline networks to connect new customers in the Sanya region. The increase in EBITDA was driven primarily by higher sales. EBITDA as a percentage of revenue for 2013 was 23%, compared to 24% in the same period in 2012. This decrease is largely attributable to the other operating income earned in 2012.
