The company’s property insurance products include property coverage, marine coverage, and boiler and machinery solutions; and casualty insurance products comprise workers’ compensation, general and product liability, commercial auto, and umbrella coverage solutions. It also provides surety and fidelity bonds; management and professional liability insurance, and risk management services to various professional firms, including architects, real estate agents, small and mid-sized accounting firms, law firms, and others; directors and officers, employment practices, and fiduciary and fidelity insurance coverage solutions to small and mid-size firms, public and privately held firms, and not-for-profit organizations; and professional and general liability and associated standard property and casualty coverage solutions for healthcare industry. In addition, the company underwrites various insurances against energy, cargo and specie, marine hull, and general aviation; construction insurance; and political violence, accident and health, and financial institutions, as well as offers catastrophe reinsurance. CNA Financial Corporation markets its products and services through independent agents, brokers, and managing general underwriters. The company was founded in 1853 and is based in Chicago, Illinois. CNA Financial Corporation is a subsidiary of Loews Corporation.

CNA Financial Launches New Crisis Management Coverage

CNA Financial Corporation has launched new crisis management coverage designed to help manufacturers manage the negative media that arises from third party allegations that a product contains a defect, deficiency or inadequacy. The Crisis Management coverage compliments a set of General Liability, Umbrella and Paramount Property coverage endorsements already available to manufacturers in addition to a suite of related services to address manufacturers' needs. These services include a combination of CNA Risk Control and Allied Vendors resources, namely: business continuity risk advice; turn-key product recall management; and food safety testing, consulting and auditing services to help manage supply chain quality issues and to support recall crisis management.
