A judge has dismissed Cinemark Holdings Inc.'s request for a summary judgment on a lawsuit it is facing over the 2012 shooting rampage at its theater in Aurora, Colo. Cinemark argued in its request that it did not know about the gunman's entry in the theater during the incident. However, U.S. District Judge R. Brooke Jackson noted that plaintiffs in the case have presented evidence that suggest Cinemark was aware of the risk of an active shooter.
