CNP Assurances reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the quarter, the company’s revenue was EUR 7,124 million against EUR 7,028 million a year ago. Net insurance revenue was EUR 549 million against EUR 485 million a year ago. EBIT was EUR 523 million against EUR 454 million a year ago. Attributable recurring profit was EUR 236 million against EUR 197 million a year ago. Attributable net profit was EUR 230 million against EUR 275 million a year ago.

CNP Assurances Société anonyme announced that in its annual general meeting held on April 25, 2013, the shareholders appointed Ann-Sophie Grave and Jean-Yves Forel as directors, to replace Antoine Gosset-Grainville and Olivier Klein following their resignation and Frédéric Lavenir was elected as a director for a term corresponding to the period of his appointment as Chief Executive Officer. The shareholders also approved to pay a dividend of EUR 0.77 per share, unchanged from last year.
