Chemrez Technologies Inc. reported amended unaudited quarterly earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2012. For the quarter, the company reported sales of PHP 979.303 million, operating profit of PHP 81.292 million, profit before income tax of PHP 80.944 million, net profit of PHP 60.211 million or PHP 0.05 per basic and diluted share compared to the sales of PHP 1,142.661 million, operating profit of PHP 61.726 million, profit before income tax of PHP 59.427 million, net profit of PHP 37.812 million or PHP 0.03 per basic and diluted share for the same quarter year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was PHP 1.383 million compared to the PHP 30.062 million for the same quarter year ago. Acquisition of property and equipment was PHP 7.529 million compared to the PHP 13.410 million for the same quarter year ago. For the nine months period, the company reported sales of PHP 2,884.914 million, operating profit of PHP 299.449 million, profit before income tax of PHP 294.103 million, net profit of PHP 224.407 million or PHP 0.17 per basic and diluted share compared to the sales of PHP 4,029.582 million, operating profit of PHP 437.472 million, profit before income tax of PHP 429.689 million, net profit of PHP 364.365 million or PHP 0.28 per basic and diluted share for the same period year ago. Net cash from operating activities was PHP 131.424 million compared to the PHP 192.904 million for the same period year ago. Acquisition of property and equipment was PHP 23.638 million compared to the PHP 58.649 million for the same period year ago.

Chemrez Technologies Inc. announced that at the SBM held on June 18, 2012, approved to declare cash dividend of PHP 0.06 per share and a special cash dividend of PHP 0.06 per share or total of PHP 0.12 per share to all the stockholders of record as of July 18, 2012, payable on August 13, 2012.
