The company’s lending activities comprise residential mortgage lending, commercial lending and leasing, commercial real estate lending, construction lending, and consumer lending. It also provides debit cards, Internet banking, cash management services, traveler’s checks, safe deposit boxes, international banking services, night depository facilities, wire transfers, trust services, and retail brokerage services to small and medium-sized companies, business professionals, and real estate developers, as well as local homebuyers and individuals. In addition, the company offers wealth management products and services, including non-deposit investment products, annuities, insurance, investment management, asset custody, and general consultation and planning services. It operates 35 branches and 112 ATMs in the state of Hawaii. The company was founded in 1954 and is headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Central Pacific Financial Corp. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2014. The company reported that net income for the second quarter ended June 30, 2014 was $9.15 million, or $0.25 per diluted share, compared to $14.27 million, or $0.34 per diluted share, for the same quarter ended June 30, 2013. Net interest income for the second quarter ended June 30, 2014 was $35.91 million, compared to $33.17 million for the same quarter ended June 30, 2013. The company reported net income for the six months ended June 30, 2014 was $18.96 million, or $0.48 per diluted share, compared to $151.58 million, or $3.59 per diluted share, for the same period ended June 30, 2013.
