Ceragon Networks Ltd. provides wireless backhaul solutions that enable cellular operators and other wireless service providers to deliver voice and data services worldwide. Its wireless backhaul solutions use microwave technology to transfer telecommunication traffic between base stations and the core of the service provider’s network. The company provides IP-20 Platform solutions for various short-haul and long-haul applications, including FibeAir IP-20G; FibeAir IP-20N/IP-20A; FibeAir IP-20C; FibeAir IP-20S; FibeAir IP-20E; FibeAir IP-20C HP; FibeAir IP-20LH/IP-20A; and Evolution IP-20, as well as products that address the hauling needs of IP-based, hybrid, and circuit-switched networks, including FibeAir IP-10C, FibeAir IP-70, FibeAir 2500, FibeAir IP-10E, FibeAir IP-10Q, FibeAir IP-10G, and FibeAir 2000/4800. It also offers products for high capacity IP, TDM, or hybrid long-haul and backbone applications comprising Evolution Long-Haul IP for wireless hauling, wireless backbone, and migration from TDM to IP long-haul; FibeAir 3200, a circuit-switched TDM; Evolution IP-10 Compact Long-Haul for long distance applications; Evolution Long-Haul, a four-channels high-capacity long-haul solution; and PointLink for offshore oil/gas rigs in vibration environment. In addition, the company provides network management systems to monitor network element status; and IP/Ethernet solutions to wireless broadband service providers, and businesses and public institutions that operate their own private communications networks. Further, it offers network and radio planning, site survey, solutions development, installation, maintenance, training services, and more. The company sells its products through direct sales, original equipment manufacturers, resellers, distributors, and system integrators. It was formerly known as Giganet Ltd. and changed its name to Ceragon Networks Ltd. in September 2000. The company was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Ceragon Networks Ltd. Receive Orders from Global Tier 1 Operator

Ceragon Networks Ltd. announced that it has received follow-on orders from a global Tier 1 operator serving 20 countries across Asia and Africa. This latest upgrade of both African and Asian subsidiaries brings the total order value to over USD 50 million year to date. In Africa, Ceragon's Evolution Long-Haul solution will serve to expand the operator's mobile reach across eight national markets. In Asia, Ceragon's all-out-door expertise and FibeAir solutions will be used to both expand existing 3G services and facilitate the upgrade to high-speed 4G/LTE networks.

Ceragon Networks Ltd. Announces Executive Changes, Effective November 1, 2014

Ceragon Networks Ltd. announced that Doron Arazi has joined the company and will assume the responsibilities of Aviram Steinhart, as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective November 1, 2014. After this transition period, Mr. Steinhart will be leaving the company for another opportunity. Mr. Arazi brings a wealth of financial, management and industry expertise to his role at Ceragon. He is joining from Amdocs Limited, where he recently has been serving as vice president and customer business executive for a large U.S. telecommunications operator.

Ceragon to Provide Backhaul Solution for Large-Scale Rural Broadband Network Project in Colombia

Ceragon Networks Ltd. announced its selection by Andired, a service provider in rural connectivity projects in Colombia, to provide high-capacity backhaul solutions as part of a new nationwide broadband network deployment. Financial details of this selection were not available. Reportedly, Andired has invested several million dollars in this new network deployment, which will span over 1,500 kilometres and support voice and data services with capacities ranging from 500Mb/s to 3.5Gb/s. This high-capacity backbone network will be based on Ceragon's cutting-edge IP-20 product line and will be operated by Andired for ten years. Also, Andired will deploy Ceragon's last-mile unlicensed solutions for high-capacity access links.
