Credit Suisse Private Equity, LLC, private equity arm of Credit Suisse Group AG (SWX:CSGN) and TPG Capital, L.P. are reportedly pursuing an initial public offering or sale of Grohe Holding GmbH to a competitor or other investor. According to Reuters, the transaction could take place in the third or fourth quarter of 2013. As per Reuters, Grohe, its owners and the banks declined to comment. As per sources, Credit Suisse, The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS) and Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) are set to be mandated shortly as organisers of the flotation or sale. Deutsche Bank AG(DB:DBK) and UBS AG (SWX:UBSN) have also been appointed for the transaction.
Credit Suisse Group AG appointed Paul Gamble managing director within its fixed-income team for the Asia-Pacific region. Gamble previously served at Deutsche Bank AG as head of credit sales.
Credit Suisse has promoted Edwin Low and Rizal Gozali as co-heads of investment banking for South-east Asia, a region sizzling with deals. In their new roles, they will be responsible for leading the bank's investment banking activities in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. Mr. Low, who has been with the bank since 1996, was previously head of Singapore and Malaysia and he will remain as deputy chief executive of Credit Suisse Singapore.
