The company is involved in the scriptural custody of assets and contracts; registers the transactions carried out in the OTC market; processes the financial settlement; and offers to the market an electronic platform for conducting various types of online transactions, such as auctions and trading of government bonds, corporate bonds, and fixed income securities, as well as provides central securities depository, outsourcing, market data, and risk management services. It also provides solutions for the credit market related to the vehicle financing for banks, concessionaires, leasing companies, departments of transportation, and insurers. The company, formerly known as CETIP S.A.–Balcão Organizado de Ativos e Derivativos, was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
