It also provides aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for aviation and airline customers, as well as offers staffing services, professional security and training services, and aviation solutions for third parties; vacation packages; and aircraft charters, and aircraft management and programs. As of August 14, 2014, the company operated a mainline fleet of approximately 700 aircraft. Delta Air Lines, Inc. was founded in 1924 and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

Delta Air Lines announced that Mike Campbell, Executive Vice President of Human Resources & Labor Relations, has informed Board of Directors of his decision to retire on October 1, 2014. Effective October 1, Joanne will be the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, reporting to CEO Richard Anderson. Joanne has served as Senior Vice President -- In-Flight Service. Charisse Evans will become Vice President of Reservation Sales and Customer Care, reporting to Steve Sear, Senior Vice President of Global Sales. Evans most recent position was Vice President of ACS International Operations. Mary Loeffelholz is being promoted to the position of Vice President of ACS International Operations, reporting to Bill Lentsch, Senior Vice President of Airport Customer Service.

Delta to Launch New Daily Service from Salt Lake City to Mexico City

Delta Air Lines Inc. announced that it will launch a new daily nonstop service from Salt Lake City International Airport to Benito Juarez International Airport in Mexico City, starting December 20, 2014. Through its long-term alliance with Aeromexico, Delta has scheduled its SLC-MEX service to conveniently connect with onward flights from Aeromexico's hub in Mexico City. Delta and Aeromexico will now offer round trip connections between Salt Lake City and the following cities in Mexico: Acapulco, Aguascalientes, Leon, Campeche, Cancun, Durango, Guadalajara, Morelia, Monterrey, Oaxaca, Puerto Vallarta, Torreon, Veracruz, and Zacatecas.

Delta Air Lines, Inc. Announces Management Changes

Delta Air Lines Inc. appointed Jeff Robertson, formerly Vice President of SkyMiles, as Vice President of product development for Delta Sky Clubs and marketing communications. With the foundation for the new program in place forits launch on January 1, 2015, Robertson is transitioning into his new role at Delta. Karen Zachary will lead the SkyMiles global program planning and execution team, Ed Smith will be point on co-branded SkyMiles-American Express cards as well as all US partners, and Jennie Ho will lead Delta's non-US program and partnerships. All three have worked closely with Robertson over the past several years.
