This division is involved in the cash management, trade finance, and trust and securities service businesses. Its Asset & Wealth Management division provides wealth management and private banking services, including lending and discretionary portfolio management to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net worth individuals, family offices, and institutions. This division also offers a range of investment strategies and solutions, including equities, fixed income, property, infrastructure, private equity, and hedge funds, as well as asset management services. The company’s Private & Business Clients division offers retail banking services, including current accounts, deposits, loans, investment and insurance, mortgages, consumer finance, as well as debit, credit, and prepaid cards to clients and small and medium-sized business customers. As of December 31, 2013, it operated 2,907 branches in 71 countries. Deutsche Bank AG was founded in 1870 and is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Deutsche Bank reported Richard Shannon will join in October 2014 as Americas CIO. Shannon will also hold the role of Co-Head of GTO Americas along with Scott Simon, who is currently Regional Head of GTO Americas. Shannon joins Deutsche Bank after 20 years with Goldman Sachs. He will be based in New York. Scott Marcar will also join in October as Head of Information Technology Infrastructure, responsible for designing, operating and modernising the Bank's infrastructure to drive greater security, stability and cost efficiency. Marcar joins Deutsche Bank after seven years with Royal Bank of Scotland. He previously held senior technology positions at JPMorgan Chase. Marcar will be based in London. Richard Shannon will join in October as Americas CIO, supporting the Bank's compliance and regulatory technology initiatives. Shannon will also hold the role of Co-Head of GTO Americas along with Scott Simon, who is currently Regional Head of GTO Americas. Shannon joins Deutsche Bank after 20 years with Goldman Sachs, where he most recently held the position of Global Head of Web Platforms Technology. He will be based in New York. Scott Marcar will also join in October as Head of Information Technology Infrastructure, responsible for designing, operating and modernising the Bank's infrastructure to drive greater security, stability and cost efficiency. Marcar joins Deutsche Bank after seven years with Royal Bank of Scotland, where he most recently held the position of Chief Information Officer, Corporate and Institutional Banking. Both Shannon and Marcar will report to Kim Hammonds, Global CIO and Global Co-Head of GTO.
