dejour energy inc (DEJ) Key Developments

Dejour Energy Inc. Announces Current Development Progress Underway at the Kokopelli Project

Dejour Energy Inc. announced current development progress underway at the Kokopelli Project. The Frontier-28 rig has completed drilling and casing the water disposal well on Pad 21A, vital to the economics of the ongoing Kokopelli production programs. The rig has now been moved to Pad 21B, less than 500 yards away, where it has successfully spud the Federal 14-15-1-21 well (a Williams Fork test with a projected depth of 8,500), the first of eight new production wells to be drilled, logged and cased sequentially prior to fracking, completion and tie-in operations to contracted gathering facilities. Dejour owns a 25% working interest in the Kokopelli Project and is carried for 25% of the first USD 16 million in expenditures. To date the program is on time and on budget.

Dejour Energy Inc. Announces Woodrush Project Drilling Update

Dejour Energy Inc. updated current development progress underway at the Woodrush Project (Woodrush) in NE BC. The company has finalized its 2014 development plan targeting both the Halfway oil and Gething gas pools at Woodrush. Upon approval of drilling permit applications with the BC government it is anticipated that two wells will be drilled, completed and given success, placed on-line by YE 2014 with the goals of enhancing current field production and expanding the production potential of the subject hydrocarbon pools. As previously reported, Woodrush is currently producing at a rate of 475 BOE per day, with approximately $40 per BOE netbacks. The company owns and operates a 99% WI in this project encompassing 25,000 gross (19,000 net) acres with 3 oil wells and 6 natural gas wells currently operating at Woodrush and two additional gas wells operating in the adjacent Hunter project, in Northern BC, with further wells to be tested for production after freeze up. The $2 million capex for this operation will be funded with cash on hand.

Dejour Energy Inc. Updates Current Development Progress Underway at Kokopelli Project

Dejour Energy Inc. updated current development progress underway at the Kokopelli Project (Kokopelli). The 'conductor' rig has completed the setting of 20 casing for eight new production wells and one water disposal well on Pads 21A and 21B at Kokopelli. The Frontier-28 rig is currently moving to Kokopelli from Wyoming and is expected to rig up for the drilling of the water disposal well early next week on pad 21A. The estimated time to drill and case the 8900' well to the Cozzette near the base of the Williams Fork is 10 days. Following the casing of the water disposal well the rig will move to Pad 21B where it will begin to drill the first of eight production wells: seven Williams Fork and one Mancos well. The project is currently on schedule. The company has $2mm+ cash on hand and credit facilities sufficient to fund the balance of its entire 2014 Capex program. The successful development of a predictable, long-term revenue stream from multiple zones at Kokopelli would represent a significant milestone for Dejour. Beyond the potential impact to PDP reserve value and corporate cash flow, this 2014 campaign sets the foundation for building both an efficient and substantial liquids-rich natural gas producing operation. But this remains only the early stage of the Kokopelli plan as it looks to further expand production on the southern lease in 2015 and include operations to prepare the northern lease for 2016 drilling. With improved project economics and a de-risked engineering profile, the company anticipates that the Kokopelli Project can become a highly attractive Piceance producer.
