It primarily explores for molybdenum and tungsten in South Korea; and copper, nickel, gold, magnetite iron ore, and uranium in Australia. The company holds a 100% interest in the Daehwa project located southeast of Seoul in Chungbuk Province in the centre of South Korea. It also holds interest in the Camel Hills project, through a joint venture with Aurora Minerals Limited, covering an area of approximately 1,209 km2 located in the southern Gascoyne Region of Western Australia. The company was formerly known as Desert Energy Limited and changed its name to Desert Mines and Metals Limited in December 2011. Desert Mines and Metals Limited is based in Belmont, Australia.
