Desert Star Outlines Large, Zoned IP Anomaly at the Copper King Project

Desert Star Resources Ltd. announced that it has identified a large Induced Polarization geophysical anomaly resulting from a follow-up 3D IP survey (performed by SJ Geophysics) at its Copper King Project. The IP anomaly, together with the lithological, alteration and geochemical data the Company previously generated represents a high quality porphyry copper drill target for Desert Star. The Copper King Project is located in the copper-endowed Superior Mining District and contains alteration zonation patterns that are consistent with the top of porphyry copper systems. The Company commissioned the11-day Volterra 3D IP geophysical survey at the Coper King Project in order to increase confidence in the location, geometry and intensity of the geophysical anomaly first identified in August, 2014. The parameters of the Survey included a 112-meter distributed diamond array with a line spacing of 300 meters.

Desert Star Resources Ltd. Commences Additional IP Geophysics at Red Top & Copper King and Stakes Additional Claims

Desert Star Resources Ltd. announced that it has commenced follow-up Induced Polarization geophysical surveys (performed by SJ Geophysics) at each of its Copper King and Red Top projects in Arizona, and has expanded the claims boundary of the Red Top project to the north of the property. The Copper King and Red Top projects are adjacent properties located in the copper-endowed Superior Mining District and each contains alteration patterns consistent with the top of porphyry copper systems. Follow-Up IP Geophysics at Red Top and Copper King Projects: Desert Star has commenced follow-up geophysics using the Volterra 3D IP System at Red Top and Copper King in order to further define the location, extent and geometry of the IP anomalies the Company identified in Second Quarter 2014. This work will build on the alteration, structural, lithological and geochemical targeting work completed by Desert Star's technical team, with the aim of prioritizing drill targets. The Company will collect a total of 20,000 and 10,000 IP line meters (300 meter line spacing) worth of data at Red Top and Copper King, respectively. Results will be announced when completed. Red Top Additional Claims: As a result of the Company identifying an open-ended, 1,400-meter coincident chargeability and resistivity anomaly in the second quarter of 2014 IP geophysical survey at the Red Top project, Desert Star staked 44 additional claims to the north of the property. The newly staked ground covers 720 acres of ground in Pinal County, Arizona.
