Dah Sing Financial Holdings Limited, an investment holding company, provides banking, financial, and insurance services in Hong Kong, Macau, and China. The company operates through six segments: Personal Banking, Commercial Banking, Treasury, Overseas Banking, Insurance Business, and Others. The Personal Banking segment engages in the business of the acceptance of deposits from individual customers, extension of residential mortgage lending, personal loans, overdraft and credit card services, and provision of insurance sales and investment services. The Commercial Banking segment is involved in the acceptance of deposits from, and the advance of loans and working capital finance to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers; and provision of trade financing. This segment also engages in hire purchase finance; and leasing related to equipment, vehicle, and transport financing. The Treasury segment is involved in the provision of foreign exchange services and centralized cash management for deposit taking and lending; interest rate risk management; and management of investment in securities. The Overseas Banking segment provides in personal and commercial banking products and services in Macau and China. The Insurance Business segment is involved in life assurance and general insurance businesses. The Others segment engages in corporate investments and debt funding. The company also offers property investment, insurance broking, securities dealing, and money lending services. Dah Sing Financial Holdings Limited is based in Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
