Deutsche Telekom AG provides integrated telecommunication services worldwide. The company operates through four segments: Germany, United States, Europe, and Systems Solutions. It offers fixed-network services, such as voice and data communication services based on fixed-network and broadband technology; and sells terminal equipment and other hardware, as well as services to resellers. Deutsche Telekom Opens Third Store in Stuttgart

Deutsche Telekom announced that it is opening its third store, this time in Stuttgart. The shop is located in Galeria Kaufhof in the Kongistrasse pedestrian shopping preciinct. The shop has 260 square metres of floor space. A floor walker takes customers to a suitable sales assistant. Customers can go online to book an appointment at the new branch, too.

Deutsche And Orange Reportedly In Talks To Sell EE

Deutsche Telekom AG (DB:DTE) and Orange SA have resumed talks to sell their EE Limited, an asset that may be valued at as much as $19 billion, according to people familiar with the matter. While an initial public offering is the most likely scenario, divesting the four-year-old partnership to a financial investor or another carrier are also options being considered, said the people, asking not to be identified because the discussions are private. They owners haven’t set a deadline and neither is currently interested in buying the other’s half, the people said. Orange would be willing to sell its EE stake if it finds another M&A project, said one of the people.

Iliad Drops Plans To Acquire T-Mobile

Iliad SA (ENXTPA:ILD) has stopped its plans to acquire T-Mobile US, Inc. (NYSE:TMUS). Iliad along with two private equity funds and banks has put an offer to improve significantly the terms of its first offer for a T-Mobile stake by enhancing the cash amount and increasing the share of T-Mobil's capital to be acquired from 56.6% to 67%. The new offer was about $36 per share, which it said was cash plus share of value creation. Iliad said, "It will continue its profitable growth policy as it has been conducted over the last 15 years in the interest of its subscribers, employees and shareholders.” Deutsche Telekom AG (DB:DTE) and board members of T-Mobile have refused to entertain its new offer.
