Swedish Export Credit Corp. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the quarter, the company's net interest revenue was SEK 427.5 million compared to SEK 505.4 million a year ago. Operating profit was SEK 212.3 million compared to SEK 738.9 million a year ago. The decrease was mainly attributable to net results of financial transactions which amounted to SEK 86.3 million. Operating income was SEK 340 million compared to SEK 853.2 million a year ago. Net profit after taxes was SEK 163.7 million compared to SEK 544.6 million a year ago. Operating profit excl. unrealized changes in fair value was SEK 350.8 million compared to SEK 601.1 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share was SEK 41.0 compared to SEK 136.5 a year ago. After-tax return on equity was 4.5% compared to 15.4% a year ago. After-tax return on equity excl. unrealized changes in fair value was 7.5% compared to 12.5% a year ago. Cash flow from operating activities was SEK 3,040.1 million compared to SEK 3,438 million a year ago. Capital expenditures was SEK 11.9 million compared to SEK 10.1 million a year ago. The company announced that at the Annual General Meeting held on April 23, 2013, it was decided to approve the proposal from the Board of Directors and the President to pay a dividend to the sole shareholder (the Swedish state) of SEK 212.6 million which corresponds to 30% of net profit after taxes for 2012.
