The company’s Industrial Inkjet segment offers VUTEk super-wide format UV, LED, textile dye sublimation, and thermoforming industrial digital inkjet printers and ink for use in commercial photo labs, sign shops, graphic screen printers, specialty commercial printers, and digital and billboard graphics providers; EFI hybrid and flatbed UV wide format graphics printers to industrial digital inkjet printer market; Jetrion label and packaging digital inkjet printing systems, integration solutions, and specialty inks to the converting, packaging, and direct mail industries; and Cretaprint ceramic tile decoration digital inkjet printers. Its Productivity Software segment provides Monarch and Metrics business process automation software; Pace, a cloud-based business process automation software; Digital StoreFront, a cloud-based e-commerce solution that allows print service providers to accept, manage, and process printing orders over the Internet; Radius, a business process automation software for label and packaging printers; and other business process automation and e-commerce solutions designed for the printing and packaging industries. The company’s Fiery segment offers stand-alone DFEs connected to digital printers, copiers, and other peripheral devices; embedded DFEs and design-licensed solutions used in digital copiers and multi-functional devices; optional software integrated into its DFEs, such as Fiery Central, Command WorkStation, and MicroPress; Entrac, a self-service and payment solution; PrintMe mobile printing application; and stand-alone software-based solutions, such as proofing and scanning solutions. Electronics For Imaging, Inc. reported consolidated unaudited earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended Sept. 30, 2014. For the quarter ended September 30, 2014, the company reported record revenue of $197.7 million, up 11% compared to third quarter 2013 revenue of $178.8 million. Non-GAAP operating income was $30.8 million compared to $22.8 million for the same period in 2013. Non-GAAP net income was $20.6 million or $0.43 per diluted share, compared to non-GAAP net income of $18.7 million or $0.39 per diluted share for the same period in 2013. GAAP operating income was $12.9 million compared to $13.9 million for the same period in 2013. GAAP net income was $4.8 million or $0.10 per diluted share, compared to $16.1 million or $0.33 per diluted share for the same period in 2013. Income from operations was $12.922 million against $13.876 million a year ago. Income before income taxes was $6.852 million against $14.994 million a year ago. Non-GAAP income from operations was $30.847 million against $22.765 million a year ago. For the nine months ended September 30, 2014, the Company reported revenue of $579.3 million, up 9% year-over-year compared to $530.5 million for the same period in 2013. Non-GAAP operating income was $82.2 million compared to $68.6 million for the same period in 2013. Purchases, net of proceeds from sales, of property and equipment were $12.938 million against $32.725 million a year ago. For the fourth quarter, the company expects revenue to grow 6% to 8% year-over-year, resulting in revenue of $208 million to $212 million, with EPS of $0.51 per share to $0.54 per share. The company expects non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.51 to $0.54 and full year earnings per share of $1.79 to $1.82. The company expects revenue growth in software to be approximately 10%. The company expects overall gross margins to be approximately flat year-over-year. For fiscal year 2014, revenue growth is expected to be 8% to 9% or $788 million to $792 million, positioning squarely on target to the 2016 $1 billion revenue goal.

Electronics For Imaging Integrates Print Technologies with CBORD Campus ID Card Systems

Electronics For Imaging, Inc. has announced the integration of its EFI Self-Serve M500 Copy and Print Station and EFI Self-Serve AdminCentral with CBORD's CS Gold and Odyssey PCS campus ID card systems. With the integration, colleges and universities can gain streamlined, automated management of student and faculty print and copy payment systems. The flexible system EFI is presenting at CBORD's user group conference allows printing of anything from PDF and Word documents to images and PowerPoint presentations from a USB drive; mobile phones; tablets; laptops; email; cloud-based services like EFI PrintMe, Dropbox and Google Drive; or a campus computer. EFI Self-Serve AdminCentral, a cloud-based Web application, lets administrators easily set up M500 stations in minutes and manage multiple stations anywhere, anytime with just a Web browser. Administrators can configure devices, add services without changing hardware and set or adjust prices and tax rates. They can also generate detailed sales and usage reports, monitor real-time device status, and update device software online. In addition to adding CBORD CS Gold and Odyssey PCS integration, the latest version of EFI Self-Serve AdminCentral adds Microsoft OneDrive support.
