Electronics For Imaging, Inc. provides digital inkjet printers, business process automation solutions, and color digital print controllers worldwide. Its Industrial Inkjet segment offers VUTEk super-wide format UV and textile dye sublimation industrial digital inkjet printers and ink to commercial photo labs, sign shops, graphic screen printers, specialty commercial printers, and digital and billboard graphics providers; EFI hybrid and flatbed UV wide format graphics printers to the mid-range industrial digital inkjet printer market; Jetrion label and packaging digital inkjet printing systems, integration solutions, and specialty inks to the converting, packaging, and direct mail industries; and Cretaprint ceramic tile decoration digital inkjet printers to the ceramic tile industry. The company’s Productivity Software segment provides business process automation software, such as Monarch, PSI, Logic, PrintSmith, and PrintFlow; Pace, a cloud-based business process automation software; Digital StoreFront, a cloud-based e-commerce solution; Online Print Solutions that provide Web-to-print, publishing, and cross-media marketing solutions; Radius, a software for label and packaging printers; PrintStream, a software for the printing industry; Prism, Metrics, and Technique, which are business process automation solutions; and Alphagraph that provides business process automation solutions for the graphic arts industry. Its Fiery segment offers stand-alone print servers connected to digital copiers and other peripheral devices; embedded and design-licensed solutions for digital copiers and multi-functional devices; optional software integrated into controller solutions, such as Fiery Central, Command WorkStation, and MicroPress; Entrac, a self-service and payment solution; PrintMe, a mobile printing application; and stand-alone software-based solutions, such as proofing and scanning solutions. The company was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Foster City, California.

Consolidated Graphics, Inc. Installs Electronics for Imaging, Inc.'s Vutek Gs5000r Superwide Printers

Anderson/LA, a Consolidated Graphics, Inc. and Electronics for Imaging, Inc. announced that Anderson/LA has installed two additional, EFI VUTEk(R) GS5000r five-meter UV roll-to-roll printers. The new printers join another VUTEk GS5000r, as well as VUTEk GS3200, QS3200 and 3360 model printers already installed at Anderson/LA, providing the additional throughput capacity needed to provide top-quality indoor and outdoor graphics for national retail and restaurant accounts. Anderson/LA, which provides leading national restaurants, retailers and Hollywood movie studios with offset print, digital print and fulfillment services, is one of the first companies in North America to operate three VUTEk GS5000r printers. Several additional Consolidated Graphics companies around the country also operate VUTEk printers. And, the majority of Consolidated Graphics companies use print MIS software provided by EFI's Productivity Software group, part of a relationship between CGX and EFI that extends back more than 15 years.
