It provides its services to approximately 25 million customers. The company was formerly known as Empresa Nacional de Electricidad, S.A. and changed its name to Endesa, S.A. in June 1997. The company was founded in 1944 and is headquartered in Madrid, Spain. Endesa, S.A. is a subsidiary of Enel Energy Europe, S.R.U.

Endesa Signs EUR 210,000 Electricity Supply Contract with Cordoba's General Treasury of Social Security

The General Treasury of the Social Security of the Cordoba province in southern Spain, has hired Spanish electric utility Endesa for the supply of electric energy, intended for its provincial directorate building. The final value of the contract is EUR 210,000 (USD 256,000), VAT excluded. The term of the deal is 18 months, starting January 1, 2015, and ending June 30, 2016.

Endesa Receives EUR 161,000 Electricity Supply Deal in Malaga

The Malaga city council, situated in the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain, has hired Spanish electric utility Endesa for the supply of high voltage electrical energy, intended for the city's municipal services building. The contract is valued at some EUR 161,000 (USD 196,000), VAT excluded. The term of the deal is one year.
