Orbite Aluminae Inc. announced that Mr. Peter Crossgrove, Mr. Pascal Decary and Mr. Claude Lamoureux are joining the Board of Directors, effective immediately, as independent members and will be proposed by the board for election by the shareholders at the next annual general meeting, which is scheduled for June 20, 2013. Mr. Crossgrove, C.M., O.O., a Member of the Order of Canada and the Order of Ontario, is currently Executive Chairman of Excellon Resources, and is Director and Non-Executive Co-Chairman of Detour Gold. Mr. Decary is the Senior Executive Vice President for Germany, Eastern Europe and Asia and Executive Director at Veolia Environmental Services. Mr. Lamoureux was President and CEO of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.

Orbite Aluminae Inc. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the period, the company has posted cash flows from operating activities of $1.0 million. Net loss was $0.5 million, or $0.003 per share. This compared to a net loss of $3.8 million, or $0.02 per share, for the quarter ended March 31, 2012. Property, plant, and equipment increased by $10.83 million during the first quarter of 2013 compared to December 31, 2012. The net increase results from an increase of $14.69 million before investment tax credits, in the investment in PP&E mainly due to the conversion of the pilot plant into a production-scale HPA plant, which increase is partially offset by the recording of $3.78 million in government grants and refundable investment tax credits on equipment purchases for the HPA plant.

Orbite Aluminae Inc. announced the appointment of Mr. Glenn R. Kelly as Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer, effective May 21, 2013. He will report to Richard Boudreault, President and Chief Executive Officer, while all other executive officers of the Company will report directly to Mr. Kelly. Mr. Kelly joins Orbite from CO(2) Solutions where he was president and CEO since August 2008.
