Equinix, Inc. announced it has expanded its relationship with DE-CIX with the installation of new Points of Presence (PoPs) in three Equinix data centers in Frankfurt -- Equinix FR4 and FR5 (now called Campus Kleyer) and FR2.
PT Data Center Infrastructure Indonesia in partnership with Equinix, Inc. announced the opening of its data center facility located at Cibitung, West Java. Built and operated by PT DCI, the new data center will provide premium interconnection and data center services for local and global customers through Platform Equinix(TM). Located at a prime industry complex within West Java, the new data center will provide significant capacity of approximately 65,000 gross square feet.
Equinix, Inc. announced that it will be opening its new Washington, D.C. data center (DC11). Benefits of the new DC11 facility and the Ashburn campus as a whole including: Access to the internet exchange point in North America in terms traffic with over 400Gbps at peak traffic; access to more than 200 networks, 140 cloud and IT service providers and 100 content and digital media companies; connectivity to an ecosystem with over 10,000 cross connects to existing customers and partners and compliance with key federal regulations and industry standards such as HIPAA and PCI.
