Finansbank AS, together with its subsidiaries, provides banking services to retail, corporate, commercial, and small and medium enterprise customers in Turkey and internationally. The company’s retail banking activities consist of mortgages, consumer lending, credit and debit card services, deposits and investments, and insurance products. Its small business banking activities consist primarily of revolving credit lines, installment loans, overdrafts, business housing loans, and demand deposits. The company’s corporate and commercial banking services include trade finance, traditional lending, project finance, cash management, corporate syndication and secondary market transactions, deposit taking, and the issuance of certificated debt instruments. In addition, the company offers private banking services, such as time deposits, mutual funds, emerging market bonds, domestic and international equities, government bonds, corporate bonds, currency exchange, forward contracts, futures, options, and structured products. Further, it provides ATM, POS terminal, Internet and mobile banking, and call center services. Additionally, the company provides brokerage services; deals in treasury bills and equities; invests in mutual funds; and offers life insurance and retirement income services to groups and individuals, as well as bancassurance products. As of June 30, 2012, it operated a network of 522 branches and 1,930 ATMs. The company was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey. As of January 29, 2007, Finansbank AS operates as a subsidiary of National Bank of Greece SA.
