France Télécom SA (ENXTPA:FTE) is again seeking partners for Dailymotion SA after France Télécom derailed its plan to sell a majority stake to Yahoo! Inc. (NasdaqGS:YHOO). Stephane Richard, Chief Executive of France Télécom, said, "Dailymotion is a unit of France Telecom and not of the state. It is the company, its management and board that should manage this issue. We are not looking for financial backers. Our priority is to find a partner who can help develop Dailymotion outside Europe. We have looked at more than 60 possible partners in France and abroad before focusing on Yahoo," Richard said, adding that the two groups had been close to signing a deal before the government intervention. "Now we will restart our search,"he added.

France Telecom SA reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of EUR 10,280 million compared to revenue of EUR 10,721 million last year. Restated EBITDA was EUR 3,124 million compared to EUR 3,346 million last year. Capex excluding GSM and UMTS licences was EUR 1,150 million compared to EUR 1,079 million last year. Operating cash flow was EUR 1,975 million compared to EUR 2,267 million last year. Following the first quarter 2013 results, the group confirms the operating cash flow target of more than EUR 7 billion for the full year of 2013.
