DynCorp Inc. is planning to acquire Defence Support Group (DSG), reported Express UK. DynCorp is believed to be among nine bidders for DSG, which could fetch up to £300 million. General Dynamics C4 Systems Closing Two Facilities, Consolidating in Scottsdale

General Dynamics C4 Systems announced that the company is closing its facilities in New Freedom, Pa., and Sunrise, Fla., and will consolidate some of those operations at its Scottsdale headquarters as the demand for military products has decreased. But that doesn't mean the company will be hiring more people to handle that work in Scottsdale. Any work consolidated and transitioned from the Sunrise and New Freedom facilities to the Scottsdale location will be done by existing employees. The company says closing those operations will put it in a better position to cost effectively deliver products and services to its industry and government customers. Many employees at the Scottsdale operation were fearful they would lose their jobs, as the company let go of a couple dozen employees last year.
